Lead Designer, 2020 — 2024
Auto.ru is Russia’s largest car marketplace with 29M monthly users. I led design for the home screen and feed, launched CarTinder from zero and built the design system. For eight months I led a team of five.
Reworked the home screen of the app with 8M monthly users. The brief was clicks into services, but people were lost: no clear way to search, no cars in sight. So we built it around search and the personal feed.

Dozens of “what if” concepts came before the final screen: search alone, a car-specific AI assistant and a modular feed. Modular won: it adapts to what a person came for and grows without another redesign.

Brand, model102,498 offersA swipe interface for car exchange, the first on the market. In 2022 there were few new cars and a third of users wanted to trade in. I took the mutual match from dating apps and built the card around the price gap.

The listing card was overloaded. Interviews showed buyers mostly look at photo, price and mileage, so I tested dozens of layouts by how fast people found them. It took two A/B tests to get it right.

A payment page for local payments in 15 countries. Every country pays its own way: QR code, bank transfer, phone number. I rebuilt it as one flow that adapts to each, then refined it through a dozen A/B tests.
